Order Cancellation Policy

At Custom Hat Maker, we understand that plans can change. Because our products are custom-made and manufactured according to customer specifications, order cancellations are subject to the following terms.
Cancellation Before Production
Customers may request to cancel an order before production has started.
If the cancellation request is approved before any materials, artwork preparation, or production work has begun, a full refund may be issued, excluding any non-refundable processing fees where applicable.
Cancellation After Design Approval
Once a customer has approved the final design, mockup, artwork, or production proof, work may begin immediately.
At this stage, cancellation requests may be subject to administrative, artwork, or setup fees that have already been incurred.
Cancellation During Production
Once production has started, custom orders generally cannot be canceled.
This is because materials, labor, and manufacturing resources have already been committed specifically to your order.
In such cases, no refund or only a partial refund may be available at our sole discretion.
Cancellation After Shipment
Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled.
Customers should refer to our Returns & Exchange Policy regarding any issues with delivered products.
How to Request a Cancellation
To request an order cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible with:
- Order Number
- Full Name
- Email Address Used for the Order
- Reason for Cancellation

Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled. Our team will review the order status and confirm whether cancellation is possible.
Refunds for Canceled Orders
If a cancellation is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Any applicable artwork, setup, processing, or production fees may be deducted from the refund amount.
Custom and Personalized Orders
Because custom products are created specifically for each customer, orders involving:
- Custom embroidery
- Custom patches
- Personalized text
- Customer-supplied logos or artwork
- Special manufacturing requests
may not be eligible for cancellation once production preparation has begun.
